Directly responsible for the day to day operational awareness of the activities at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL). Assists the Group Manager and the ES&H Team Leader in ensuring that PPPL’s work is planned and performed safely by clearly conveying DOE’s expectations to the contractors performing work at the site, in ensuring that PPPL has developed and implemented an integrated safety management system, and in maintaining a comprehensive day to day operational awareness of the activities being conducted. |

Responsible for coordination with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and other regulatory agencies with respect to the operation of River Bend Station (RBS), a nuclear power plant. |

Responsible for coordination with the NRC during the design and construction of RBS leading to obtaining the operating license for RBS. Also worked on the Nine Mile Point - Unit 2 nuclear power plant and the Commanche Peak - Units 1 and 2 nuclear power plants. |
